Opened 28th April 2007Fifteen years ago a Whitchurch lady had a vision to bring all of Whitchurch activities together under one roof. That dream is now being realised. The Gill Nethercott Centre, Winchester Road, Whitchurch RG28 7HP is our wonderful new venue set right in the heart of Whitchurch by the River Test. A small meeting room will hold approximately 12 people. The new library is located on the upper floor and as well as a great selection of books, there are internet points available for all to use. The views will be very special as well! Do you want to get involved?The Gill Nethercott Centre will be a benefit for everyone living in Whitchurch, the surrounding villages and visitors to the Town. In order for it to realise its full potential, Whitchurch Association needs local people to support it and get involved. The Association hopes that many people will decide to become members which will allow them a say in how the centre is used and developed, as well as entitling them to a 10% discount when booking the centre. You will also be sent a newsletter which will contain details of regular and upcoming events. Membership fees are as follows:

From the entrance there is a walk way with a glass panel over the Silk Mill stream. The centre is fully equipped with a main hall which will seat about 100 with a hatch into a kitchen with catering facilities. There is decking to the South of the main hall thereby extending the size.
